Have you ever had a call from and old friend or family member who is in town and wants to come and visit later that day? If you are like me, I want to have coffee and dessert of some kind ready when they arrive. This is a Midwestern tradition in my family. We enjoy having friends and family drop in and part of the visit always involves eating.
There are days when I have nothing prepared and need to come up with a quick dessert. This fudge crinkle cookie recipe fits the bill by using a cake mix and a few ingredients which creates a great chewy cookie. You have 2 dozen cookies ready to serve and my tradition is intact.
